* How do I get a Mental Health Care Plan?

Step 1: Book a "Mental Health Care Plan" appointment with your GP.

Step 2: Provide them with our details:

Step 3: Email your plan to bookings@mindfoodpsychology.com before your first session.

Your MHCP must be dated on or before your first session to be eligible for the rebate.

Is there a waitlist?

No. Appointments are available now.

Do I need a referral to book?

No referral is needed to book your assessment.

If you would like to access the Medicare rebate, you will need a valid Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, and the date of the plan must be on or before the date of your first session.

Can you prescribe medication?

We are not able to prescribe medication. If medication is part of your recommended plan, we take care of the referral process for you, connecting you with a psychiatrist in your state so you are not navigating it alone. We also send them a complimentary support report so they are across your results from day one.

Will I get a copy of my results?

The complimentary summary report is sent directly to your healthcare providers. If you would like your own comprehensive written report, this is available for an additional cost of $1,000.

Do you assess for other conditions alongside ADHD?

ADHD often co-occurs with anxiety, depression or disordered eating. The clinical interview will explore this and your clinician will discuss any relevant findings with you.

Please note this is not an assessment for Autism, however you are welcome to raise these concerns during your session.
